Hey there, everyone!

My name is Evan, and I’ve been playing D&D for about 10 years now—almost half my life, haha! I grew up surrounded by theatre, as my mother was a drama teacher at universities in London and a director for many plays. It definitely had an impact on me! Who knows, maybe I’ve picked up a knack for improv?

I specialise in horror campaigns, creating that eerie atmosphere, but I’ve explored many other themes as well! I love the feeling of getting to know your character on a personal level and understanding the intricacies of their decision-making, all while weaving in your backstories. I tend to dive deep into them!

Lastly, I’m based in the UK! I hope to run a session for you soon, whether in person or online!

Take care,
Evan

How I facilitate games

How do I run games...

Well, that's a pretty tricky question depending on which side of me you want, haha! As I mentioned, I love to incorporate horror into my games, but I think the most important aspect of my approach is the "And then therefore" methodology. I really enjoy crafting deep story campaigns or even one-shots where everything in the narrative has a "therefore this happens" effect. Everything is part of a larger story. So, to put it simply, how I run games depends on the players; however, I am a huge fan of deep, emotional storytelling!

What players have to say about Evan

  • We had a fantastic time; the boys really enjoyed their campaign, and Evan was excellent. I would definitely recommend Evan. Thank you!

Game systems I facilitate

  • Dungeons & Dragons

    • High Fantasy +7
    • 1 – 7 players
    • Moderate rules

Forge your own fantasy tale with Dungeons & Dragons. Create a party of brave heroes, outsmart traps, negotiate with dragons, and claim treasure in vibrant worlds. Imagine the camaraderie of The Lord of the Rings, but you decide the paths, the battles, and the conclusion.

The antagonist I became too fond of…

I do love a classic posh British villain with their cane and suits, being a lord, etc. Some may recognize this from a campaign called the Crooked Moon, but I adore Phillip Druskenvald so much that I had some art created for him and often use it as my profile picture, haha!

The snack that powers my prep…

Red Bull.
Red Bull.
Red Bull.

A house rule I will always stand by…

Gaining an Exhaustion level when you go down on death saves! I love this house rule that I use at many of my more experienced tables, as it adds a sense of consequence to going down, especially in horror campaigns!
