Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not aim to collect data about visitors under the age of 16 unless they have permission from their parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. Therefore, we recommend that parents engage in their children's online activities to prevent data from being collected about minors without parental consent. Purpose and legal basis for processing personal information
StoryForgers processes your internet behaviour data for the following purposes:
- StoryForgers analyses your behaviour on the website to enhance the site and customise the offering of products and services to suit your preferences.
- StoryForgers processes your name and email address solely for the purpose of establishing contact with you regarding potential appointments, and only after you have reached out to us first.
Automated decision-making
StoryForgers does not make decisions based on automated processing that could have significant consequences for individuals. This includes decisions made by computer programs or systems without any human involvement (for example, a StoryForgers employee).
Duration of personal data retention
StoryForgers does not keep your personal data longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. We adhere to the following retention periods for various categories of personal data:
Name and email address are deleted two months after the agreements have expired.
Sharing personal information with third parties
StoryForgers does not sell your data to third parties and will only share it when necessary to fulfil our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We establish a processor agreement with companies that handle your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality. StoryForgers remains accountable for these processing activities.

StoryForgers uses functional and analytical cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. StoryForgers employs cookies with purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website operates correctly and, for instance, remember your preferred settings. These cookies are also used to ensure the website performs well and can be optimized.
Third parties also place cookies on this website. We use PostHog to place cookies that track your browsing behaviour on our website. StoryForgers and PostHog do not collect personal data for this purpose. IP addresses are not stored.
Accessing, modifying, or deleting information
You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by StoryForgers. Additionally, you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request for us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization you specify. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data, or a request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@storyforgers.com. To ensure that the request for access is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and citizen service number (BSN) in this copy to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks. StoryForgers also wants to point out that you have the opportunity to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
